Description:

     UM Cycling is a bicycle racing team that competes in road, mountain, and cyclo-cross races. We compete in the Northwest Collegiate Cycling Conference. The governing body is USA Cycling. The Spring is our main season, with a five week road cycling competition. Late Summer and early Fall is mountain and cyclo-cross.
     The purpose of UM Cycling is to promote bicycle racing in Missoula and Montana and to compete at the highest collegiate level possible. We give up and coming cyclists the necessary opportunities to be introduced to the sport and discover a new passion. Also, we foster a competitive atmosphere to help experienced racers grow as cyclists.
     UM Cycling is funded by ASUM. All other expenses are covered by fundraising and personal expenses.
     The Cycling Team had three Collegiate National Champions last year. They also finished 2nd at Mountain Bike Nationals. They host two bicycle races in the Missoula area.

Practice Schedule:
Wednesdays, Fort Missoula, Cyclocross from 5:30pm-8:00pm
