Swim Lesson Registration

(For Children & Adults) Registration for lessons must be done in person at the pool on the first designated Monday of each registration period. Phone registration will be accepted other days of registration. Call 243-2763. Register between 7am and 7pm.

Monday & Wednesday Evening Lessons		Registration Starts

Session Three:	Nov. 3 - Nov. 24 (no class Nov. 26)	October 27
Class Times:	6:05pm - 6:35pm; 6:40 - 7:10pm
Adult Classes Offered:	6:40 - 7:25pm only

Parents or guardians are in pool with their child(ren), ages 6 months to 3 years

Children's Group Lessons:
Class ratios =   4:1 in Pre- Beginner 1 & 2,
                       5 - 6:1 in Pre- Beginner 3 - ARC level 6,
                       7 - 10:1 Tiny Tot
All Evening lessons: Eight 30-min lessons......$35.00
Note: Shorter sessions due to holidays will result in fee adjustment.

Adult Lessons:
Class ratio = 5 - 7:1
Eight 45-minute lessons for..............................$35.00

Private Lessons: (when staff is available) 30-minute classes
Student to Instructor ratio = 1:1............................$14.00/Class

Adult Coached Swims:
Now available for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced- during the day, 2- 3 times/ week. Talk to Jen P or Ellen 243- 2763. Masters Punch passes available for these swims.

CLASS LEVELS DESCRIPTIONS

Tiny Tots: Parents/guardians are in the water with their child(ren). For ages 6 months to 3 years old. 7 groups per instructor.
Pre-Beginner I: Must be at least 3 years old. Not yet ready to go underwater, some anxiety to work through. 4 students per instructor.
Pre-Beginner II: Prereqs: Must be comfortable going underwater and be able to float on front and back. 4 students per instructor.
Pre-Beginner III: Prereqs: Must have fair knowledge of crawl stroke for 6-10 feet. Must have an independent front and back float with kick. 5 students per instructor.
Pre-Beginner IV: Prereqs: Must have an efficient crawl stroke for 15-20 feet. Knowledge of elementary backstroke is helpful but not essential. Backstroke for 15-20 feet. Working on stroke and breathing refinement and more endurance. 5 students per instructor.
American Red Cross Level IV: Prereqs: Must be able to do crawl stroke for 25 feet and have beginning of rotary breathing techniques. Should have some knowledge of elementary backstroke. Backcrawl for 25-30 feet. 5 students per instructor.
American Red Cross Level V: Prereqs: Must do one width of pool crawl stroke with rotary breathing, elementary backstroke and backstroke. 5 students per instructor.
American Red Cross Level VI: Prereqs: Must do two widths crawl stroke, backstroke, elementary backstroke and two widths sidestroke. 5 students per instructor.
Adults: beginner, eight 40-minute lessons. Tuesday and Thursday 6:50 - 7:30pm.
