Campus Media

KBGA

KBGA 89.9 FM

KBGA is a student-run, non-commercial radio station, designed to cultivate Missoula’s interest in radio. Since 1996, KBGA has provided the Missoula and campus communities with a quality, alternative, free-form radio station, and broadcasting live from the UC. KBGA promotes a diverse format and exposes the community to new and refreshing programming. Anyone is welcome to become a part of KBGA and contribute to the creative, exciting, grassroots medium of college radio. DJs are trained several times throughout the year and interested students should stop by UC 208 to pick up an application or check the website for upcoming training sessions. On the KBGA website, you can also donate, listen to the live stream, see DJ profiles, explore the audio archive, and more.

The Kaimin

Montana Kaimin

The Montana Kaimin (Salish for “message”) is the independent, student-run campus newspaper. In its 114th year, the Kaimin provides journalism students with the opportunity to report the news, write and edit stories, take photographs, and develop news coverage of campus events. Published Tuesday through Friday of each week during the fall and spring semesters, the Kaimin is a primary source for UM news and is an excellent opportunity for students to get newsroom experience before entering the professional world. Students are hired throughout the year. For additional information, please visit Don Anderson Hall room 207.
