Computer Check-In

In addition to appointments with RTAs in dorm, we also offer a check-in service for residents' computers. Some problems require additional time to fix and there are some services we cannot provide in-room. Students who live in University-owned housing , including the University Villages, are welcome to bring their computers to our office at 014 Elrod Hall.  Off campus students can use our services as well, but will have to pay a $10 charge in addition to any service charges.

Some of the in-office services we offer include the following:

• Spyware and Virus removal - First time is free, additional removals require a small fee
• Hard Drive reformat
• Data backup
• We will also verify your DirectConnect configuration and help you troubleshoot Internet connection problems
• Ethernet and Coaxial cables for sale

Many services are provided for free, but we will always tell you if a fee is required before performing work.
