Disability Services for Students is the University of Montana's student affairs office which assures program access to the University by students with disabilities. We coordinate and provide reasonable accommodations, advocate for an accessible and hospitable learning environment, and promote self-determination on the part of the students we serve.
After the leaves come down, the snow begins to fly. The first mentions of the "S" word in local weather reports came this year in the second week of October. Still, construction goes on at UM and new projects will start even as Mount Sentinel turns white!
Don't worry, though. UM's Access Map is ready with priority snow routes shown in red, and construction areas with red and yellow stripes. Check it out and plan ahead!
The University’s ADA-504 Team encourages faculty members to inform students of their intent to accommodate them. This notice invites students to initiate the accommodation process in a respectful and effective way.
