Learning Strategies Course
Disability Services highly recommends the study skills course offered by the TRiO Student Support Services - C&I 160 Learning Strategies for Higher Education. The course is taught by TRiO staff who are well-versed in this area and the course is designed to give students tools that will help them find success in the University of Montana courses that lie ahead of them. Topics include lecture and textbook note taking systems, test taking strategies, memory development, learning styles and campus connections. Just as important, C&I 160 is the entry-way to other important TRiO services such as advising and tutoring.
