Students with disabilities whose functional limitations require them may request test modifications. The purpose of an accommodation is to give those students a "level playing field" on their exams. That's what the ADA and Section 504 promise.
Faculty members who receive these requests for modifications may not have the space or personnel to provide them. Disability Services for Students provides test modification services so that students will receive the accommodations they require, and so faculty can be assured of test security.
