Orientation

All Foreign Students are encouraged to attend the Foreign Student Orientation which is then followed by the General Campus Orientation. The Foreign Student Orientation addresses issues and concerns specifically of the newly arrived foreign student, as well as the transfer and exchange student.

During the Orientation Programs at the beginning of each semester before classes begin, you will learn what you need to know about the University itself. The Orientation Programs will cover such topics as: how to choose and register for classes; immigration regulations and benefits for foreign students; campus academic, social and recreational services, and community resources. During the Orientation Programs, you will also meet your academic advisor, who will assist you in designing your academic program and help you select classes. To facilitate a smooth transition to the University, it is very important that you attend both the Foreign Student and General Campus Orientation Programs.
