Topic 1: Travel Awards
-Winners were emailed to Mary K.
-Email to be sent to non-winners during office hours
-goLoco-people traveling could ride together (place link in rejection email?)

Topic 2: Meet and Greet
-Kallie will call Gordon to set up at Press Box
-advertising in Kaiman-2 columns-$64
-way to pay for beer?
-Kallie will send out email about meet and greet, with attached flier
-Dept Reps can post fliers, print from attachment
-May do smaller sized fliers?
-Meet and Greet 6-9 PM
-$5/cup beer with proceeds to GSA
-$126 for keg needed ahead of time

Topic 3: Question from student
-query made about not enough Grad classes offered and classes offered at inconvenient/wrong times (semester)
-had made it hard to graduate/dissertation on time
-should talk to Dean Strobel
-word question better in survey
-Steve was to email Dean Strobel about question

Topic 4: Website
-homepage had 539 hits to date, with several hits on each link (looking great!)
-www.umt.edu/gsa (spread the word!)
-RSS feeds brought up by John-notification of certain category postings-look into it more
-Navigation bar-add link to call for papers/conference dates/etc.

Topic 5: GSA slow start
-Steve brought up a discussion topic about the progress of GSA and a leadership style change-better vision for future
-an evaluation was done on expectations/how to improve
-meeting format has seemed to be good
-ideas/brainstorm-special meetings for officers, keep time in check for meeting (1hr)/stay on track, change agendas by having officers do reports? ( I dunno..), reiterate officer roles
-Co-President?????
