I. Topic 1: Preparation for Meet and Greet at the Press Box

a) The main goal of the GSA this year is interdisciplinary interaction.

II. Topic 2: ASUM Student Group Recognition Form

a) GRF passed around, signatures obtained.

III. Topic 3: Graduate Student Stipend Amounts

a) Cayla presented summary of Graduate Council meeting regarding the Graduate Student Stipend Initiative.

b) Implementing a panel discussion after national elections proposed.

IV. Topic 4: Grant Writing Workshop

a) Grant Writing Workshop to be held in spring.

b) Appropriate number of speakers, modified from previous grant writing workshop, discussed.

V. Topic 5: Travel Awards

a) Travel Award money disbursement structure to be amended.

b) Options include:

a) increasing overall amount

b) having varying amounts based on in-state/ out of state

c) having varying amounts based on distal radius

d) and having one international travel award.

c) Additional research needed. Decision to be made at a later point in time.

VI. Topic 6: Committees

a) Seats needed to be filled for various committees.

b) Some filled during meeting, others still vacant.
