I. Topic 1: Graduate Initiative

a) November 24^th is the meeting time with Associate Provost, Parry Brown regarding the graduate initiative. Time TBD.

b) Schuyler will reserve a room and create fliers.

c) Refreshments provided by the Graduate School.

d) Assistance posting flyers would be appreciated.

II. Topic 2: Grant Writing Workshop

a) Chris Newbold and Diana Lurie confirmed as speakers.

b) Estimated date in January. Specifics TBD.

III. Topic 3: Travel Awards

a) Confirmation of funds delayed until further notice.

IV. Topic 4: University Court

a) The seat on the University Court has been filled.

V. Topic 5: Graduate-Faculty Research Conference Planning Committee

a) Still looking for a graduate student to sit on the planning committee.

b) Cayla to find out the time commitment required.

VI. Topic 6: Graduate Council Recap

a) Undergraduate/ Graduate dual credit issue discussed but not yet resolved.

VII. Topic 6: October Meet and Greet/ Social Event

a) Tentative at this time. Still looking for venues.
