I. Topic 1: GSA Social Event

a) Logistics: Event to be held at the Union Club on Thurs., 10/23. Time TBD.

b) Incentives discussed: “Grad Student Olympics” activities, drink deals, donations/ prizes. Cayla and Schuyler to firm up possibilities.

II. Topic 2: Graduate Initiative Forum

a) Location still TBD.

b) Estimated 100 people for attendance.

c) Cayla to obtain summary of graduate initiative and it’s importance to graduate students from the graduate school to be relayed to graduate students when the announcements go out.

III. Topic 3: Grant Writing Workshop

a) Date for event in the beginning of spring to be set at the end of this semester.

IV. Topic 4: Travel Awards

a) On hold until further notice.

V. Topic 5: Graduate Seminar Courses

a) Discussed the need for comprehensive listing of graduate seminar courses and their descriptions for cross-discipline education.
