I. Topic 1: Discussion Forum- Graduate Initiative

a) The Discussion Forum is this Monday, November 24, 2008 from 1:00-2:00 pm in Janette Rankin Hall, room 202.

b) Relevant emails from students unable to attend will be read on their behalf to address concerns.

c) A video of the discussion will be posted on the GSA website.

d) Brochures will be distributed at the event to promote student engagement with the GSA.

II. Topic 2: Grant Writing Workshop

No new updates.

III. Topic 3: Travel Awards

Travel awards deadline is Friday, November 21 by 5:00 pm. The drawing will be held on Monday, November 24 by Cayla and Leslie. Winning names will be submitted on the afternoon of Nov. 24.

IV. Topic 4: Class Dismissed

Kyndra will submit a short paragraph to “Class Dismissed: Your Guide to Life Beyond the Classroom.” She will describe how getting involved positively influences our college experience. The deadline is Dec. 19
