I. Topic 1: Welcome Feast

a) Welcome Feast runs 11-3 this Friday.

b) Cayla will be at table entire time.

c) Schuyler and Leslie will assist during available times.

II. Topic 2: ASUM

a) First meeting is September 29th

III. Topic 3: Perry Brown

a) Perry Brown is the new Vice Provost for the Graduate School (he was the former Forestry Dean)

b) Perry Brown will not be our advisor at this time.

IV. Topic 4: Anticipated Activities

a) 3^rd Thursday MAM Artini (Cayla Jo will follow up)

b) Meet and Greet at Pressbox (Schuyler will follow up)

c) Grant writing workshop

V. Topic 5: Sub-committees

a) Positions on sub-committees are available

b) Brainstormed recruiting students to sub-committees

VI. Topic 6: Satisfaction Survey

a) Possible enhancement to previous needs- assessment survey

b) Students assess satisfaction within their own departments and with the graduate school (Leslie will follow up)
