Topic 1: Needs Assessment Survey

we made minor revisions to the survey: added “Please Respond To:” above GSA contact info and an appeal for additional student participation at the end of the survey
Christina will contact the Graduate School’s computer systems analyst about emailing the survey directly to grad students without the middleman

Topic 2: ASUM Student Group Budgeting

John and Phil worked hard on next year’s budget request in preparation for GSA’s formal presentation before ASUM senators
John formally lobbied for next year’s funding on Monday evening while Phil and Cayla provided backup support
John and Phil lobbied informally Tuesday evening and Cayla, Phil and Christina will participate at the informal lobby session tonight
ASUM senators will make their final budgeting decisions Friday and results will be posted in the ASUM office on Monday

Topic 3: Meet & Greet

The Pressbox
March 13 – Thursday

St. Paddy’s day theme
Troy will update the flyer and make arrangements with The Pressbox
Promotion: email announcement to grad students (via dept reps) with flyer attachment and reps will post flyers in their departments

Topic 4: Email Liaisons

we need to make a GSA contact list for departments without student representatives
we need to check in with dept reps we have not heard from in while to make sure they are still on board - if you (dept reps) have not touched bases with us since last fall, please shoot us an email to let us know how your grad student communications are getting along

Topic 5: Sub-Committees (we will form at our next meeting on 3/5/08)
