Travel Awards

GSA grants travel awards for the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.

Please contact GSA at the beginning of each semester for the application deadline. (Please do not submit an application until a deadline has been announced.)

Travel Awards are issued using a criteria-based lottery system.

The criteria are as follows:

1) You must present at the conference.

2) The conference must take place during the semester for which you submit an application.

3) You will be eligible to receive an award once per academic year. The academic year begins each fall and ends with the summer.

4) A faculty member in your department must sign off authorizing your good academic standing within your department.  You must not be on academic probation.

- download an application,
- email GSA (umgsa@umontana.edu) or
- stop by the GSA cubicle at UC 201 J 
  (in the Student Organization Suite)


Drop off the applications in student organization suite mailbox 8 or at the GSA cubicle in UC 201 J.
