 Graduate and Non-Traditional Students

The University of Montana offers many different options for students who are not freshmen. Currently around 40% of the populations living on campus are upper-class students.

The Residence Life Office attempts to place students with a roommate within the same age range. While there is no specified graduate/non-traditional housing, the Residence Halls do offer different living environment options that may interest older students.

Aber Hall offers a 24-hour quiet floor for students who want/need a little more quiet time.

Pantzer has 4-person suites with four private bedrooms and all four residents sharing a common living area and two bathrooms.

  • Miller offers 3-person pods where each resident has a private bedroom and shares a common living area with their suite mates. Bathrooms are located down the hall from the suites. Miller is also a 12-month residence hall. Students who designate the "12-month option" on their application card may stay through the vacation breaks (Christmas and Summer) at an additional charge. Students may stay through the summer if they are summer school students or if they pre-register and agree to reside in their Miller Hall assignment for the following Fall Semester.
