Miller Hall offers three-person pods, single rooms and double rooms. Each pod has three private bedrooms, common living room, refrigerator and microwave oven and a bathroom down the hall. Miller Hall is smoke-free and only residents who do not smoke are assigned to this residence hall. Miller Hall supplemental Information available here.

NOTE:  UM conducts an annual shutdown of the Heating Plant in order to perform necessary maintenance.  The annual shutdown is scheduled for May 10-19, 2008.  During this time hot water will not be available. 

Participants staying in residence halls are expected to comply with all residence hall regulations.  Clean, comfortable and convenient room furnishings provided are:  single bed, closet, chest or dresser, study table, chair, curtains and wastebasket  Linen in NOT provided.  The residence is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their individual room, common area and bathroom.  A resident will be charged for damage to the room, cleaning charges, lost keys and outdoor access card.

THINGS TO BRING from home are:  LINEN (for standard twin size bed), bedding towels, fan and other personal care items.  NOTE:  Air conditioning is not provided so bringing a fan is highly recommended.

Each room includes a data port which can be activated for internet connection.  The charge for Direct Connect Services is $30.00 for half summer or $60.00 for full summer.  Amounts are not pro-rated and no refunds are available for unused portions due to early departure.  Residents wishing to purchase this service must complete the activation form and make payment when they check in.  

Each room in Miller Hall has one telephone line which can be activated for an additional charge.   The telephone line will supply dial tone for local dialing only and voice mail.   There is a $35.00 activation fee and a $30.00 per month service charge.   The student must supply their own telephone set.

TO MAKE A RESERVATION:  Payment in full is required at the time an application is submitted.  In order to receive a refund, cancellations must be received in writing five (5) days prior to the expected arrival date.

Housing charges are based on the number of nights a room has been assigned.  The housing rate for Miller Hall if staying 14 nights or more is

$16.50 per person, per night for a Miller pod or single (limited number available) or

$14.00 per person, per night for a Miller double - a roommate will be assigned

10 Week Session -- 70 nights  (pod/single =  $1,155.00)  (double = $980.00) 

5 Week Session -- 35 nights  (pod/single =  $577.50)  (double = $490.00)

11 week Session -- 77 nights  (pod/single = $1270.50)  (double = $1078.00) this options is available only to students living on campus Spring Semester 2008.

Housing is available from May 18 through July 26, 2008.

Housing will not be available after 2:00 PM on July 26, 2008.
