Training: Educational programs are conducted on an on-going basis by Human Resource Services. ADA-related training is incorporated into monthly orientations for all new faculty and staff. The Human Resources staff development program features the Management Development and Professional Development Series of the Human Resources staff development program includes student workloads: therefore making it possible for Disability Services to serve its consumers without additional resources. Disability Services plans to monitor closely whether the re-organization affects service delivery.

Disability Services facilities are improving to manage the increasing enrollments. In the summer of 1998, Disability Services acquired Corbin Hall 065 for use as a test accommodation center. Also, the Disability Services reception and records office. Brantly-Corbin Hall 032. was remodeled to increase floor space and create an accessible entrance. These facility improvements are interim steps. A permanent solution is planned with the construction of the Center for Student Success in'the Lodge. The Center will house several departments besides Disability Services. Disability Services anticipates significant improvements in services because the department is in close proximity to other vital student services. In fact, cooperative ventures are planned with these departments. For example, a learning center could be established to provide fee-for-service remedial assistance to students with and without disabilities.
