Bylaws are the supreme governing document for ASUM and contain the most fundamental principles and rules for the group. ASUM’s bylaws determine how the organization is managed internally. They regulate how the senate is elected, how meetings are run, what officers ASUM will have and the duties of senators. When the bylaws require a change, that change requires a two-thirds (2/3) majority vote from ASUM senators.
