Welcome Landlords!

The Renter Center is happy to assist Landlords with any grievances, provide educational tools and to provide links to other assistance.  Please navigate the pages to the left for more information and give us a call with any questions, 243-2017.

Notes on the Renter Center:

We are an agency provided by the Associated Students of the University of Montana (ASUM), the student government, and are here to primarily assist student renters and advocate for their rights.  It is the hope of ASUM that by providing assistance to community members, that the Missoula rental market will become more fair and equitable for student renters. 

We do not employ attorney's but work closely with attorneys at ASUM Legal Services.  We regularly attend property management training courses, housing discrimination seminars, keep up-to-date on the latest issues in rental housing and are a part of National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) - Western Montana Chapter. 

 

Because we don't employ attorneys, we do not provide legal advice in any way, including this website.  The pages are intended to provide information to individuals seeking to resolve issues themselves.
