It's Been a Great Year!

The Neighborhood Ambassadors wrapped up their busy semester with an end of the year neighborhood block party and won't be back until next fall. We hope that the neighbor to neighbor communication that we worked so hard to foster continues into the summer months. Why not take advantage of the beautiful Missoula summer by doing something to better get to know those nearby -  host a backyard bbq for residents on your block, mow a neighbor's yard, or share some of the goods grown in your garden. There's plenty of opportunities! Thanks to everyone who supported our program this year and we'll see you in September!

Neighborhood Ambassadors featured in video news stories!

Two journalism students enrolled in the UMNews course have selected the Neighborhood Ambassador program as the subject of their video story assignments!  The first gives a general overview of the program and features ambassador, Paul Summerlin, while he goes door to door in his assigned area. Click here to watch.  The second focused on the Sunday Sweepers clean up events and featured ambassador, Jessica Ferretti, and UM student group, African Student Association, who participated in the clean up on Sunday October 14th.
