Need a website to keep student group members informed?
Information Technology (IT) offers student groups (free) help in creating a simple (no customization-no special functions), skeleton website with password access so your student group's web person may populate your site with your groups information and contact info. IT is also willing to migrate current student group websites (ones that already exist) into this system.
Please be aware there is a request system that requires your student group's web person to take a test before getting access to build your site. Your web person will need to read the information carefully before taking the test. After successfully completing the test your web person will be given an access code for your site. If you have specific questions about building a site, please contact James Robertson in IT at 243-5350. Once you have a website, please let us know so we can include it as a link on the ASUM website. Contact the Administration Office in UC 105 or call 243-2451.
What to do:
1) Go to this link: http://connect.umt.edu/wtsRequests/ Fill out the request form and take the test.
2) Populate your website. (If your group asks IT to do a more complicated web site that will cost your group money, this will need to be approved by Phoebe Hunter, Officer Manager x 2120).
3) Let us know when you have your website completed.
