Curriculum and Instruction
What Can I Do With A Major In Curriculum and Instruction?
Students in the Elementary Education program learn to work with children of all abilities. Coursework and experiential learning prepare them to work in a variety of educational settings. Elementary education graduates find teaching opportunities in K-8 schools throughout the United States and across the globe. Once in the schools, many elementary education graduates pursue further specialization in counseling, administration or curriculum development. Looking beyond the school environment, opportunities exist for curriculum and education leadership in zoos, museums, environmental education centers, state government, and textbook companies.
