The University of Montana Campus Recreation Summer Youth Camps are designed to provide children the opportunity to explore all forms of non-motorized recreational activities. In doing so, we hope to foster a life long love for recreation in the youth of our community.
Our Youth Camps program is an 8-week summer camp that focuses on a different sports theme each week. It is open to youth entering kindergarten through fifth grade. Campers have the option to register for individual weeks or all eight weeks for a discounted cost. In addition to the sports theme of the week, there will be opportunity to take part in swim instruction, fitness activities, and outdoor adventures each day. After camp child care is available from 3:00-5:00pm.
To raise money and awareness for Campus Recreation Youth Camps, the Griz Glow Dash n' Dance, a 5k fun run under a full moon will donate proceeds to provide scholarships for the Youth Camps.
All camp activities will take place on the University of Montana campus in Missoula, MT. Facilities include, but are not limited to: Riverbowl fields, Fitness & Recreation Center, Dornblaser fields, Grizzly Pool, Schreiber Gym, and the University of Montana Golf Course.
