The Missoula Aquatic Club (MAC) is an age group team with members 6 yr to 19 yr. MAC practices at the Grizzly Pool during the school year. For information regarding MAC, contact Ellen at 243-2763.
Coached adult workouts, available for all abilities, offers technique and endurance training. Swimmers age 19+ who like to workout with a group are encouraged. Group includes fitness swimmers, competitive swimmers and triathletes. There is a membership fee per semester to swim a master workout. Punch passes are available. Fees cover the pool rental and coaching fees. For further information call Ellen at 243-2763.
Non-structured time for kayakers to practice skills. Bring your own kayaks, paddles, etc. The number of kayaks in the pool is limited to 12. Admittance is on a first-come first serve basis! Admission bands will be sold at 7:00pm, no earlier.

There are a number of adult coached programs offered year round at the Grizzly Pool. If you can swim one length of the pool, and want to build better endurance and technique, this is the place. Swims are available in the evenings and Sunday morning, check the schedules at the pool.
We offer a Water Safety Carnival to school groups, the program is specifically designed for 3rd and 4th grade classes. In an hour the pool staff will swim your class through a variety of safety activities and fun (students do not need to be excellent swimmers to participate). Please call and talk to Ellen or Jen for details.
If you have any questions or would like to arrange a date and time please call the pool. This is an excellent pre-summer activity for kids.
We offer certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard (including CPR-PR and 1st aid) and Water Safety Instructor through the Spring and early Summer months. Courses start in February, and generally finish in a month (8 classes), evenings/weekend times. Please call to put your name on the interest list. Recertification options are available, talk to Ellen.
