The Curry Health Center Dental Clinic is a fee for service clinic. Our fees are substantially lower than those of a private practice office. Patients DO NOT need to bring payment for the services they receive at the time of service.
Patients are charged for any service rendered, and those charges go on the patients' student account on Cyberbear. Billing and payment of all the charges are handled by Business Services at Griz Central. Payments are made to the University like all other student bills. The Curry Health Center CANNOT take payments.
Patients who have insurance are still charged for services. We will help patients fill out the necessary insurance forms, and we will file the insurance claim. We have a standardized form, or we can use a specific form (provided by the patient) if required by a specific insurance company. Any payments due go through business Services at Griz Central.
The UM student Blue Cross Blue Shield Plan covers extraction procedures only, and no other dental service. See the Student Insurance policy for more information.
