Appointments may be made in person or by calling the Dental Clinic: 406-243-5445. We do our best to accommodate students' class schedules, however with the volume of patients seen, this may not always be possible. Students are encouraged to make appointments early in the semester as we 'book up' quickly. Because of limited capacity, only one or two appointments may be made at a time.
Patients needing dental treatment other than teeth cleanings must first see the dentist for an examination and/or consultation appointment. Students who have recently been examined by a private dentist may have their records forwarded to the CHC Dental Clinic.
Canceling appointments can be done in person or by phone, 406-243-5445. If the phone is unanswered or is busy, simply leave a message as instructed and it will be checked.
Students need to be sure to cancel any appointments that they are unable to attend prior to their scheduled appointment time. The Dental Clinic assesses fees for any missed appointments that were not previously canceled: $10.00 for a missed appointment scheduled for hour or less and $20.00 for appointments longer than one hour. No missed appointment fee will be charged if prior notice is given.
An appeal process is available for students who feel the No-show fee has been wrongly assessed. Please call the Dental Clinic for details. If a student is late for their scheduled appointment by more than 10 minutes, they may be asked to reschedule their appointment, and the No-Show fee may be assessed.
