MIPs and Campus Write-Ups

I got an MIP or I was written up in the dorms.  What do I need to do?
Call SOS to make an appointment at 243-2290. You will be scheduled into one of the following:

Phase #1: ASTS – Alcohol Skills Training Seminar (ASAM .5)
Phase #2: BASICS (ASAM .5)
Phase #3: OUTPATIENT COUNSELING (ASAM 1.0)

I got Written-Up in the dorms, then later that week I got an MIP downtown.  Can I take the one SOS class and have it count for both instances?
No, you will need to complete both phase 1 and phase 2, even if the judge says phase 1 will count for the MIP.  Sorry, SOS policy. You can take care of your MIP class elsewhere if you wish. Just make arrangements with SOS to transfer your paperwork.
