Immunizations

The University of Montana requires all students be screened for the following communicable diseases.

Montana State Law requires all students born after 12/31/56 have two (2) immunizations for Rubella and two (2) immunizations for Rubeola. See following criteria options below:

A. MMR (Measles Mumps Rubella)
1. 1st immunization given after 12 months of age.
2. 2nd immunization given at least 28 days after 1st immunization.

OR

B. Rubeola (Measles) if given instead of MMR.
1. 1st immunization given after 12 months of age and after 1971.
2. 2nd immunization given 28 days after 1st immunization.
3. Certification by Health Provider of having disease.
or 4. Titer: Certification by Health Provider of serology titer with values.

AND

C. Rubella if given instead of MMR.
1. One immunization given after 12 months of age and after 1971.
2. 2nd immunization given 28 days after 1st immunization.

OR

Titer: Certification by a Health Provider that indicates immunity to Rubella.

Important review the recommended immunizations prior to coming to The University of Montana because you will not be permitted to register if you have not submitted your Preregistration Form complete with the above requrements.
