Violence Prevention Project (VPP)

Look around and you will see evidence of the Violence Prevention Project. Posters are hanging around campus, presenters speak in your dorms and classrooms and events bring students, staff and faculty together to work toward
a campus community free of violence.

SARC’s VPP is a pro-active, positive approach to sexual and relationship violence prevention. The VPP uses peer education programs, events and social marketing campaigns to raise awareness about violence and its impact on all of us.

How can you help?
  • Sign up to get our newsletter
  • Become a peer educator and volunteer
  • Invite us to your class or student group
  • Continue to step up and speak out against any violence or harassment that you see on campus.

The Violence Prevention Project (VPP) is dedicated to:

Addressing the roots of relationship and sexual violence.

Dispelling myths that perpetuate violence and prevent people from seeking help.

Educating the campus community on healthy relationships based on mutual respect.

Encouraging positive expressions of masculinity and femininity.
