Group Dining meals over the holidays (May 27, July 4) the price will include an extra labor charge. Depending on the total number of different groups contracting our services during that time, the charge will vary. This charge is split between all groups dining with us.
We require an on Campus Contact person from each group. We will work with this person to address any issues that may arise. The Campus Contact from each group will be responsible to:
1. Ensure each of your group members knows which meals they are signed up for in advance.
a. Guests whose card does not work at the door will be charged the cash price for that meal. Guests with questions regarding their meal privileges will be referred to the Campus Contact. The Campus Contact is welcome to address problems or questions with the contract coordinator at (406) 243-5650, Dona Hall or Associate Director for Residential Dining, Kate Slack, (406) 243-4501.
2. Groups choosing the global card will require their Campus Contact to provide a representative for every meal who will check-in their guests at the door. Guests will not be allowed entrance without this representative. Name badges or tickets can be helpful sorting through larger groups. Several large groups may be present at the same time during some meals.
3. We ask that large groups stagger their meal times. Occasionally, admission to the dining hall may be delayed until space becomes available. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
a. Guests who leave and wish to re-enter the dining facility will be charged an additional entrance fee.
4. Please inform your guests that parents accompanying their child into the dining room will be charged the cash entrance fee unless they have opted for summer contract pricing with your group. Parents will not be allowed into the dining room without paying an entrance fee.
5. Vegetarian options will be available at each meal. Specific brands, organic products, vegan and special orders will be considered for an additional fee. A two week notice is normally required to obtain special items.
6. Menu selection and service will change to accommodate group size. Your group will be charged for the actual number of guests served or the guarantee, number, whichever is greater. Group's will be billed at the cash price for individuals exceeding their guarantee by 10% or more for that meal.
a. Groups will be given the following options for days when total meal numbers are smaller than 30:
i. Eating off campus, on their own.
ii Requesting sack lunches.
iii Being provided a meal in the Food Zoo Dining Room with a limited selection menu.
