The Day of Dialogue provides a forum for honest dialogue in order to explore the complexities of human experience, promote understanding, and create community through the practice of civil discourse.
November 6th, 2013
The University of Montana’s 8th Annual Day of Dialogue will be on Wednesday, November 6th 2013. The Day of Dialogue is a campus-wide series of events focused on topics of diversity. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members discuss, present, perform, and exhibit art throughout the day.
Proposals are now being accepted for participation in Day of Dialogue events. All members of campus and the community are encouraged to submit proposals. Priority will be given to proposals that demonstrate or model diversity through civil discourse and stimulate creative critical thinking.
The deadline for proposals is Friday May 24, 2013.
If you are interested please sign up online to volunteer for the Day of Dialogue.
The discussion forum will be for the very first time on Facebook, this will open the discussion to the community. We ask that all comments be relevant to the issues raised by the Day of Dialogue itself or to specific sessions that are listed in our 2012 schedule.
To start a new thread, first click on the forum button at the top of the page. You can then add comments to a current topic or select new topic.
Please show respect and civility to all participants in the discussions, and refrain from any personal attacks. We are here to share and stimulate thinking, not to win any arguing contests.
