This is a checklist for faculty about informing students about and making reasonable modifications, with the strong implication that academic standards are good for students with disabilities, too.

Information Technology offers information and training on accessibility through technology: electronic documents, web pages, and audio/visual information.
Designing an Accessible Online Course
UMOnline provides a tutorial in Moodle, titled Designing an Accessible Online Course, that presents strategies for designing accessible online content. To access the tutorial, log into Moodle and go to this address: https://umonline.mrooms3.net/course/view.php?id=3284. The tutorial has guest access and is available to all UM students and faculty.
Syllabus Statements: How To Give Notice To Students With Disabilities
Disability Services encourages faculty members to inform students of their intent to accommodate them. This notice invites students to initiate the modification process in a respectful and effective way.
