Alliance for Disability and Students at the University of Montana (ADSUM)
Students with disabilities at The University of Montana enjoy quality services. These services did not happen by accident. Someone had to have the guts and vision to push for access in the past. Now it's your turn. Anyone from the student body or community can become a member or make use of ADSUM's services.
ADSUM is the voice and representative body of students who are interested in disability rights and access to post-secondary education. ADSUM is Latin for I am here. It serves the student body in a variety of ways. These include helping to inform students and faculty of the capabilities and rights of persons with disabilities; acting to break down architectural, attitudinal and informational barriers; and informing students and prospective students of services within the campus and community.
In addition, the ADSUM office is a place where students can meet to discuss disability issues. The office is located in University Center 205. ADSUM's telephone number is (406) 243-2636 Voice/Text.
