Cost of Attendance

The Cost of Attendance(COA) is used to establish a student's eligibility for aid and does not reflect what a student will pay to the University of Montana because it includes both direct costs (charges owed to UM) and indirect costs (estimates of what is needed for incidental expenses). A students COA is determined by their credit load each semester.
A student's COA is adjusted to reflect their enrollment status of full time (12 or more credits), three-quarter time (9 to 11 credits), half time (6 to 8 credits) or less than half time (1 to 5 credits).

Undergraduate COA:

The tables below reflect the COA's for the 14-15 school year for full time attendance.
