UM General University Scholarship Information on awards for 2015-16

We had over 500 students apply for the limited scholarship funding. All candidates were evaluated by their overall (cumulative) university grade point average and financial need (if need was a qualifiying criteria by donors). Many scholarships in this scholarship program may also be restricted by academic major, class, geographical region, high school, county, etc. Whether or not a student received the Montana Academic Achievement award is not considered in the screening.

To all students who did not receive notification of receiving a scholarship, we will keep your application active. Should additional funding become available we will consider those applicants. Some of the renewable scholarship funding is subject to spring grades, wo we expect to make additional awards after the spring grades are reported. This is a manual process so please be patient as we review our records.

Thank you for taking the time and applying for the General University Scholarship. Please remember there are other avenues to look into and we encourage all students to do so. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our office for more information.
