College is a chance to further your education, both inside and outside of the classroom. Scholars suggest that students who are involved on campus will have a more meaningful college experience and receive higher grades. Greeks agree! Being a member of a fraternity or sorority provides opportunities that enhance your college experience. There is ample opportunity to understand and improve your social skills, organization, time management, event planning, and leadership capabilities. Not only will you graduate with experiences to fill your resume, you will have learned communication and management skills that you can use throughout your life.
Current UM undergraduates and prospective UM students are encouraged to submit an interest form for the 2012-2013 academic year. Filling out the recruitment interest form does not obligate a student to join a Greek chapter, but it does allow us to pass their information on to the chapters! Please click on the link below and fill out the form. Once finished, save the form to you computer and submit it via email to maureen.ward@umontana.edu.
For men, the information provided on the form will be forwarded to the fraternities who will make contact individually regarding their upcoming recruitment events. For the women, the interest form will put you on our mailing list for updates on formal recruitment throughout the summer, however women who wish to go through formal recruitment will be required to register separately of the interest form. Additional information for sorority recruitment registration is below.
