International Student Identity Card (ISIC) & International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC)

The ISIC/ITIC card can provide you with savings and discounted airfare and more. You will find savings on: sightseeing, entertainment, shopping, cultural venues, food, clothes, movies and more. Within the U.S. you will find many opportunities to use your ISICITIC card.

Some additional benefits with the ISIC card are:

• Basic sickness and accident travel insurance (for trips outside the U.S.)
• ISIConnect -optional (comprehensive package offering global cell phones, Sim cards and international calling card as well as Travel Safe-virtual copies of important travel documents)

There are two levels of card to choose from. Basic is ISIC ($22). There is also ISIC Premium ($75.00), which has all Basic coverages plus additional insurance coverages. It also carries a $2000 baggage and personal belongings(computer, Ipod) insurance if these are lost, damaged or stolen while on your trip.

Please stop by Foreign Student and Scholar Services to apply for your ISIC card. To apply you will need to bring:

• One passport-size photo (name printed in ink on the back)
• Proof of student status: Copy of unofficial transcript/report card for current academic year, OR copy of your current school ID w/academi year validity visible, OR School Declaration with school seal
• Copy of driver's license, passport, or birth certificate
• Postage(if not picking up at FSSS)  $3.00 additional fee
• Rush Fee (if card is neede sooner than 48 hours) $15.00 additional fee
• Payment $22.00 (ISIC) or $75.00 (ISIC Premium)    Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard

If you wish to check out the discounts available where you will be traveling, log on to MyISIC.com. If you order the card on the MyISIC site it will take 6-8 weeks to receive your card. If you come to the FSSS office to order your card, it should be ready in two days.

International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC)

The FSSS Office announces that they now are issuing The International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC). ITIC is the only internationally-recognized form of proof of your status as a full-time teacher. It gives you access to thousands of discounts, including STA Travel airfare, accommodation, sightseeing, restaurants, and shopping (in-store and online) here in the U.S. and internationally. To apply for the ITIC, you need proof that you are a full-time teacher/professor or instructor at an accredited educational establishment. You must be employed for a minimum of 18 hours per week for a minimum of one academic year.

• One passport-size photo (name printed in ink on the back)
• Proof of teacher/professor status: Letter on school stationery from department chair or school principal verifying current full-time faculty status
• Copy of driver's license, passport, or birth certificate
• Postage(if not picking up at FSSS)  $3.00 additional fee
• Rush Fee (if card is neede sooner than 48 hours) $15.00 additional fee
• Payment $22.00 (ISIC)    Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard
