International House

The International House on campus is a center for intercultural activities and programs. Foreign students, scholars, campus, and community groups can reserve the facility free of charge by calling and reserving the International House. Community groups wishing to reserve the I-House should have some international connection/reason for using the house. The I-House can be reserved during public hours and also most hours outside of that. The I-House is now handicap accessible. Why not host a birthday party, or get together with friends and cook specialties from your country, celebrate a special holiday, or have a "video night" of foreign videos? Or it may be reserved for celebrations, birthday parties, social gatherings, meetings, cultural festivals, etc. To reserve your time, just contact the I-House managers at 543-8805 and sign a "house use" contract with them. Its that simple! But please remember that the I-House is smoke-free and alcohol-free. Once a reservation is made you are required to sign a contract and meet with a manager for training on care and use of the facilities.

The house is staffed by three (3) resident house managers eager to make you feel at home.

Our managers will be on hand for regular house public hours according to a posted schedule. During open hours, you can watch videos, cook, do laundry, do homework, or just hang out with friends. You may also schedule your special event during open hours. Please give the I-House a visit!

The International House is located at 659 South 5th Street East and the phone number is (406) 543-8805.
