Mansfield Library Graduate Student and Faculty Research Workshop Series
The Mansfield Library is offering a Research Workshop Series to provide an opportunity for graduate students and faculty to learn about new tools and resources that can help them organize, and keep current with, their research. In addition to specific tools, there will be a session on copyright for current or prospective authors. Each of the three sessions is being held at the Mansfield Library and will be offered in both March and April, see dates and details below.

Managing Your Research

Need help organizing your references and creating bibliographies? In this hands-on workshop you will learn about EndNote and RefWorks and how to utilize these citation management tools to organize your research and to easily create bibliographies and citations.

Need help keeping current on new research and trends emerging in your field? In this hands-on workshop you will learn about RSS feeds and Table of Contents alerts and how to utilize these current awareness services to keep up-to-date in your research.

Poetry Corner

Thinking about publishing your dissertation? Wondering how to maintain the copyright for your articles? In this seminar, led by Burnham and Bodwell, you will learn about things to consider when publishing your research: contract reading, retaining your copyright, and open access models.

Speakers: Scott J. Burnham, Professor of Law, The University of Montana School of Law; Teresa Bodwell, Author and Attorney.
