Everyone living in the residence halls is required to have a meal plan.  For more information about meal plans individually please visit Dining Services.

If you park your car on campus you must purchase a parking permit.   To purchase a parking permit please go to Cyberbear.

Early arrival rates for anyone who arrives before the first official housing date in Residence Halls for each semester is $17.00 per day. See our calendar for arrival dates. 

Semester Break Housing.  Anyone staying during Semester break must make advance arrangements with Residence Life Office and pay the nightly rate for each day stayed between the close of Fall Semester and 1st housing day for Spring Semester. 

Residents who move in Fall Semester are automatically obligated for Spring Semester unless they are released and properly check out by the last housing day for Fall Semester.   Anyone staying past the last day of housing for Fall is obligated to pay for Spring Semester.  If you are properly released,  moving out during the semester break or after Spring Semester has begun, will result in a $200 cancellation fee plus prorated daily rate for those days you are in possession of the room key. 

Cancellation of Residence Halls Reservations

The application is accompanied by $225.  $25 is a non-refundable processing fee.  $200 is considered a prepayment on rent.  If a room reservation is canceled for Fall Semester then the following refund policy applies. 

     Cancel before June 1 - - refund $200

     Cancel June 1 to Aug 1  --  refund $100

     Cancel after Aug 1  --  no refund  

If a room reservation is canceled for Spring Semester before the first official housing date for that semester, there will be a $200 refund.  Please see our Important Dates calendar for the first official housing date.

If a reservation for Residence Halls is canceled after the cancellation deadline, there will be a $200 cancellation fee assessed. If a resident has been properly released and moves out mid-term, there will be a $200 cancellation fee plus the daily prorated amount for each day the resident had the keys to the room. If you apply and then cancel after the cancellation deadline, there will be no refund.  If a resident is not properly released, there will be no refund for the semester housing charges.

Storage Lockers

Storage Lockers are located in Aber, Jesse, Knowles, Miller and Pantzer Halls The per month rates range from $20.00 for a 3x5x5 foot unit to $40.00 for a 6x10x8 unit. These units are rented out by the semester.

Transfer Fee:  Each resident in Residence Halls is allowed one free move to another room after the initial move in. A transfer fee of $50 will be charged for each additional move to another room.
