Residence Halls at The University of Montana are available for participants of special groups, conferences or workshops, and youth camps which are affiliated with or sponsored by The University of Montana.
Various residence halls are used to house conference groups, all of which are conveniently located on the main campus.
Our summer conference business typically runs the end of May through the end of July. Some weeks throughout the summer we are very full so book your conference well in advance to assure availability.
Clean, comfortable and convenient room furnishings are provided:
Each hall includes a data port which can be activated for Internet connection via Ethernet cord. The charge for Direct Connect Services is $35.00 per month or $70.00 for the full summer. Amounts are not pro-rated and no refunds are available for unused portions due to early departure. Residents wishing to purchase this service must complete the activation form and submit payment with the form prior to your arrival. If you are attending a specific program or conference that will be covering the activation fee, please include the coordinator’s name and telephone number on the activation request form.
Once the request form and payment has been processed, instructions to access your port will be provided when you arrive. An Ethernet cord is required to access the port in the individual rooms. If needed, a cord can be purchased at the Residence Life Office for additional $10 fee. Limited wireless is available in Aber, Jesse, Knowles and Turner.
There is a courtesy phone available for local calls. A calling card is necessary to make long distance calls.
Daily Maid Service is not provided for individual rooms. Each participant is responsible for making their own bed, garbage removal, and general cleanliness of their own room. The shared bathroom facilities and common areas are cleaned daily.
