The Community Assistant is the live-in person responsible for an assigned area within University Villages consisting of approximately 100 apartment units. They serve as a liaison between the University administration and the tenants within UV; foster an atmosphere for academic, social, cultural and emotional growth in UV by serving as a resource to the tenants and their families and assist in the enforcement of all University and UV policies. This position is 20 hours per week and runs for a full calendar year. Please read the CA Job Description for more information about the CA position.
Compensation: CAs earn an apartment at UV and their compensation is valued at $818.00 per month.
All CA candidates must complete the CA Application to be considered for the position. The CA Application closes on March 31, 2013. All applications will be screened and individual interviews will be offered to a select number of applications.
CA candidates that are offered an individual interview must participate in the interview to be considered for the position.. These interviews will take place in April. This interview will consist of a question and answer session with the questions more biographical in nature so we can get to know who you are, why you are interested in being a CA and what kind of activities, jobs and experiences you have been involved in.
All CA candidates will be notified of their hiring status in April.
