Residence Halls at The University of Montana are available for participants of special groups, conferences or workshops, and youth camps which are affiliated with or sponsored by the University of Montana. Various residence halls are used to house conference groups, all of which are conveniently located on the main campus. Our summer conference business typically runs the end of May through the first of August. Some weeks throughout the summer we are very full so book your conference well in advance to assure availability.
Participants staying in residence halls are expected to comply with all residence halls regulations. Clean, comfortable and convenient Room Furnishings provided are: single bed, closet, chest or dresser, study table, chair, curtains and wastebasket. A mattress pad, pillow, pillowcase, sheets, and small towels are provided for each bed (no daily exchange). For guests staying longer then 6 days, a weekly linen exchange can be arranged. A live telephones jack with local access is provided. You must bring your own phone set. A calling card is necessary to make long distance calls. Daily Maid Service is not provided for individual rooms. Each participant is responsible for making their own bed, garbage removal and general cleanliness of their own room. The shared bathroom facilities and common areas are cleaned daily. Participants will be charged for damages to rooms, lost keys and lost conference cards.
Things to bring from home are: larger bath and face towels, washcloth, soap, shampoo, water glass, fan, study lamp, and other personal care items. Electrical appliances for cooking in rooms are not allowed. Sleeping bags are not permitted.
