Community Events
Besides the actual physical structure, many social, educational and wellness activities are planned for the entire family on a weekly/monthly basis. Examples of events include playgroups, youth afterschool program, cooking classes, computer workshops, WIC clinics, academic workshops, etc. The Community Center annually sponsors a Safety Day program, Halloween Haunted House party, Christmas party, an Easter Egg Hunt, Area BBQs, Bingo nights, Rummage Sales and various other programs for all University Villages residents. A mediation service is available for residents who need to resolve a conflict that doesn't merit calling in law enforcement. To utilize this service or find out more about it, please call the Community Center, 728-8253.

Residents are strongly encouraged to get involved with the Community Center, either through planning a program or participating. Community information is published through THE CORNERSTONE newsletter and additional flyers which are delivered directly to your door every two weeks. Residents wishing to submit information about upcoming events can do so by contacting the Community Center at 728-8253 or sending an email to kmagnuson@mso.umt.edu. If you would like to receive the newsletter, The Cornerstone via email, please contact Kelly Magnuson at kmagnuson@mso.umt.edu.
