Lewis and Clark Villages Rental Rates

Each resident has the choice of paying rent either by the Month of by the Semester. All rent is charged to the student account with the University of Montana.

Monthly rate year round - $394.00 per month per person (effective August 1, 2009 through July 30, 2010).   Rent is due on the 1st day of each month. A $25 late fee will be assessed shortly after the 1st of each month.

Semester rates are billed at the daily rate per day beginning with the date you check in until you move out. Rent is due on the 1st day of classes for each semester. A $25 late fee will be assessed shortly thereafter and on the 1st of each month thereafter.   The rates below are examples only of total price.   The real charge is based on your move in date.

When you check in and have possession of the keys for your apartment rent will start being charged to your account.   Any days outside these term days (or a partial month) will be assessed at the daily rate.

All rates for Lewis and Clark include a fully furnished apartment with utilities paid (including internet access and cable TV)  

 Summer Rates
 

The Summer Regular rates are for those residents who lived with us throughout the academic year and continue living with us for the entire summer.

The Summer Special rates are for those residents who lived with us throughout the academic year, plan on living with us next academic year, but need to be away from the Missoula area for the summer. In order to qualify for the Summer Special Rate, the resident must turn in their keys and leave town for a minimum of 2 months. Resident may leave all of their belonging in the apartment without the necessity of packing, moving, storing and then moving back in again at the end of summer.  The actual rent is calculated using the daily rate based on the date the key for the apartment is turned in and the date the resident returns and checks out the key.

Cancellation Policy:   To cancel your apartment reservation you must send email to the LC Village Office at lc.secretary@mso.umt.edu cancelling your reservation.  If the cancellation is received 30 days before your scheduled move in date, you will be refunded the $300 damage deposit.   If you cancel with less then 30 days before your move in date, the $300 damage deposit will be forfeited.
