Newly constructed in 1995, Pantzer Hall was named for Robert Pantzer, UM's president from 1966 to 1973. Located on the southwest side of campus, creating a plaza with Elrod/Duniway and Miller Halls, Pantzer Hall has a capacity of 201 with 184 of the assignments within four-person suites. There are also 8 single rooms with private bathrooms available. Pantzer Hall is smoke-free and only residents who do not smoke are assigned to this residence hall.

Each suite has four private bedrooms, two bathrooms, common living room, storage closet, refrigerator and microwave oven. During the academic year, weekly custodial service is provided for the bathroom areas. Each room is wired for a telephone connection although it is not active.  For an additional fee, a landline phone can be connected for you.  Cable TV and computer data link to the University's mainframe computer and the internet is also available in each room which is included as a part of the room rate.  Pantzer Hall is accessible to students with disabilities. Parking, outdoor basketball and volleyball courts are nearby.

Pantzer rooms are available to upperclass students who have achieved more than 30 semester credits at the time of application, and College of Technology students who are currently enrolled. Students must also be in good academic standing at the time of application. Other features of Pantzer Hall are located on the building services comparison matrix.
