Apartment offers are made, first by priority, then by date applied, lastly by requested move in date.
University Village apartment are year round living. Tenants are not required to move out unless they will not be returned to school for the upcoming semester.
Vacating Tenants are required to provide the University Villages office with a 30 day vacate notice. Once notice is given University Villages staff will contact the next person on the waiting list to offer the apartment.
Once you have applied your application will stay active unless you fail to update every six months, fail to respond to update letters or apartment offers, or if you remove yourself from the waiting list. If any of your contact info chances once you have applied please be sure to contact the University Villages staff so that they may update the changes on your application.
Once an apartment has been offered and accepted, the tenant must pay a $300 security deposit to hold the apartment. the deposit must be received within 7 days of the apartment offer. This deposit must be paid before a tenant may check out keys to the apartment.
