Detailed Instructions:
University Hall is the main distinguishing feature of The University of Montana, displaying the clock tower. It rests along the Oval, the central area of campus. Directly west sits a metal statue of a grizzly bear. The Lommasson Center sits just southwest of it. Enter the closest door (the east, north-side entrance), and go downstairs. Room 154 is directly to the right.
Parking
There is no free parking on The University of Montana campus during business hours. The
campus parking map illustrates the various types and designated areas for campus parking. Parking violations may result in a ticket and/or towing at owner’s expense. Free parking is available after 5:00 pm weekdays and all day weekends. Residential areas are limited to the residential parking permits of their occupants.
For those who have University of Montana parking permits or day passes, the nearest available permit lot is in-between Jesse and Knowles Hall, off Arthur Ave. The nearest hourly pay parking is directly west of the Lommasson Center, off Arthur Ave.
Visitor Parking:
All visitors must purchase a day pass or hourly pay parking permits for the duration of their stay on campus. Place your day pass or hourly parking permit on your vehicle dashboard.
ONE DAY PASS - $3.00
Daily parking permits, valid in regular, decal lots only. Sold at Career Services and Griz Central in the Lommasson Center, Office of Public Safety, and University Center Bookstore/ Info Desk.
HOURLY PAY - $1.00 per hour
Hourly pay stubs are available from the dispensers in the pay lots. These lots are strategically placed around campus and can be found on the parking map highlighted in yellow.
Park and Ride:
Visitors may also use the
Park and Ride system to park off campus and ride a free bus campus. The Lommasson Center is nearest to the Miller Hall stop.
